Accommodation for participating teams
You can book accommodation with us during Laxacupen. This is booked in your team registration and is called participant cards on your team page. Accommodation is in school classrooms, sports halls and youth centres around Halmstad.
Book participant cards
Everyone staying in our accommodation must book a participant card – both players and leaders. Booking is done in your team registration.
First come, first served
Like all cups, we have a limited number of beds in our accommodation – first come, first served until they run out.
Assignment
We assign rooms and halls based on the number of participants, to the best possible location. Teams are placed by registration date, and teams from the same club are placed close to each other where possible.

House rules
Schools, pitches and changing rooms have kindly been made available by the Municipality of Halmstad. We therefore ask all participants to respect the house rules. Team leaders are responsible for their players in case of any damage.
- At least one responsible team leader stays with the participants.
- You are responsible for your own valuables – lock the classroom doors and keep an eye on your belongings at the venue.
- Windows and doors must be closed when the room is unattended.
- Entering restricted areas in the schools is forbidden.
- Smoking and alcohol are forbidden on school grounds, both indoors and outdoors.
- Hanging flammable material in the corridors is forbidden.
- Using school materials found in the classrooms is forbidden.
- Ball games indoors are forbidden.
- Football boots may not be worn indoors.
- Show consideration to other participants so that everyone can enjoy their stay at the schools.
- Quiet in the corridors by 23:00 at the latest.
- Keep your area clean and tidy – use rubbish bags and bins.
- If anything is damaged at the schools, notify the school hosts immediately.
- All food is eaten in the dining hall.
- Blackout blinds are rolled up/down carefully – 30 cm of the blind must be visible when rolled up. Do not roll out beyond the length of the window.
- Parking is only allowed in marked parking spaces.
- Connecting mobile phones to the sound systems in the classrooms is not allowed.
- Mobile phones and other electronic devices are charged only during the day and when someone is in your classroom/accommodation.
Furniture
Furniture is moved aside by the teams – take a photo of the arrangement first, then place the furniture along the walls of the room. Furniture must absolutely not be placed in the corridors due to fire risk. Lift the furniture, do not drag it across the floor. Teams are responsible for restoring the furniture on departure.
Keys
Keys are returned to the school hosts on departure. A lost key means you will be liable for the cost.
Inspection
After your stay, the classrooms are inspected. Any damage will be charged to the respective team.
